Addicted and Obsessing

WTH is with all these wacked out shows about being addicted to and obsessed over anything and everything ???!!! I say that but I of course can't stop watching these wierdos. LOL The two shows I am speaking of specifically are "My Strange Addiction" and "My Crazy Obsession". Not really sure what the dif' is other than the obsession one came on after the addiction one so they probably had to come up with a different name. These people have COMPLETELY lost their minds. They range from a guy in love with his car (he kisses it and everything.... so disgusting) to a woman who drinks her own urine....(yeah, I saw the ads for that one but couldn't bring myself to watch it.) I think it all started with a one time special for the addiction show and then all the wackos came out of the wood work and the producers must've figured they had enough to have a series. The original one showed a gentleman that had a life sized doll as his wife. Ok, this wacko belongs in the nut house. He talked to her, dressed her and did "other" things with her that, thankfully they didn't show. I COULD NOT stop watching. Intoxicating I tell you. Some of the people I think are just trying to get their 15 minutes of fame. I mean seriously, why would you want the whole country to know that you sniff baby powder, eat tape or compulsively dig in your ears. More craziness are the lady who eats dirt, the woman who eats cat treats and the girl who drinks nail polish. Oh and let's not forget the woman who is addicted to getting breast enhancements. She's not even 5 ft tall, maybe 100 lbs (20 of which are her boobs) and she has KKK breasts. And the kicker is that, against the doctor's advice, she wants to go for MMM. These poor people. Either they are acting OR there was something really traumatic that happened in their childhoods that caused this bizarre behavior. They all need therapy BADLY!!!!

Cake Pops, Turtle Pie & Chocolate Cake OH MY!!!

Today we are having a snack sale in support of two of our employees who are participating in two races to raise money for Children's Hospital Los Angeles. I got ambitious and decided I was going to make some items to sell at the snack sale. As the title of this entry implies, I went a little "snack crazy". I made Red Velvet Cake Pops, Chocolate Turtle Pie AND a Chocolate Cake. Truth be told, the Chocolate Cake was supposed to be Chocolate Cake Pops but after rolling Red Velvet cake pops for an hour J. and I were done. So I just frosted it and will sell it by the slice.

P.S. As I said J. & I were really over the whole rolling the Red Velvet cake into pops thing so with a bit of mix left I let her make a giant pop (see my cutie and her giant cake pop below)

It's been a loooooooong time

Wow...I just looked at my last post and it was July 24, 2009. GEEZ LEWEEZ!!! WTH!!! HMMMM...well life just takes over but I will catch you up. Let's see...S is 15 1/2, a Sophmore in hs and jonesing to drive. He is such a good boy. Very diligent in his studies, responsible and ready. J just turned 11, is in 5th grade and still as sassy as ever. I swear that girl is going to rule the world some day. =) S is still playing soccer but has given up the baseball dream. J decided not to play post season AYSO soccer but says she misses it so hopefully she will kick butt come Fall. =) D & I are GREAT!!! We're coming up on 23 years together in May and 19 years married in September. We've pretty much been together 1/2 our lives. Time goes by way too fast. Work is good. I just had my 15 year anniversary here. So hard to believe. S was 4 months old when I started working here. So I guess that's it for the updates. See, that's why I don't post.... (yawn). Oh well, I will try to post once a week with witty little stories or just a "Hi there". I'm sure anyone that was following me (if there was anyone) has "unfollowed" me but if your still out there....I'M BAAAACK!!!! =)
