As promised, here I am in my J.K. Livin' t-shirt. It's sooooo comfy. Thanks Matt for making them available, FINALLY!!!!
Sony Classic Soccer Tournament
This past weekend J. participated in the Sony Classic Soccer Tournament. Sony Pictures is here in Culver City and they sponsor a soccer tournament every spring. The best part was that J.'s games were right here at our local park (right behind our house). They played 1 game on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. Saturday's game ended in a 0-0 tie (sensing a pattern here?). Sunday's 1st game was a blowout. Our girls (the Culver City Sparks) won 7-1. The 2nd game was soooo intense but unfortunately ended in a 0-0 tie. Those girls were on fire I tell you. The were aggresive, shots on goal were high and so was the energy. It was so fun. Unfortunately, at this age they don't keep standings but it was a great chance for the girls to get more playing time in. So a good time was had by all.

YOU will be tired after you read about my weekend...
A great weekend but soooooo damn tiring I'm still tired. =0) Saturday J. had her second spring league soccer game and the girls did so much better. They dominated the whole game but just could not get the ball in the net. It ended in a 0-0 tie again but they had so many shots on goal I couldn't even count.
S had a cool experience through his baseball team. They got to meet Team USA and Team Japan at the Urban Youth Academy (where he practices). These are the teams that are playing in the World Baseball Classic. The only name & face that I recognized was Derek Jeter but I thought that was pretty cool. He was also interviewed by ESPN & a Japan sports news channel while he was there.
Then I went out with a friend for a girls night out. It was her sister's birthday and she had gotten a limo and a hotel room. We went for an awesome dinner at a steakhouse called Mastro's and then went dancing. A great time. Got home at 2:30am then had to get up at 6:30 to go to S's baseball games. The first game was supposed to be at 9:30 but the opposing team didn't show (got up at 6:30 for nothing). Next game was at 12:00. Good game. They won but we didn't get home until 3:00. Then J had a meeting with her science project partners, I had to go to the grocery store, finish laundry make dinner and finally got to sit down and relax at 8:00pm. Out of breath yet? I am just thinking about it. All in all a good weekend but boy am I tired.

J.K. Livin'
Nearly three years ago I blogged about my obsession with Matthew McConaughey and the fact that I wanted to get a J.K. Livin' shirt (his motto) that he had on in an interview. Well, he has finally opened his online store and is selling them. Guess who's gettin' herself one. If you guessed MOI that would be correct. I'll post a pic of me in it once I get it. The insanity continues. =0)~
J.K. Livin'
Damn, Camila is a lucky girl!! Look at that face would you please! =0)

Spring Sports at their finest
Well J had her first spring league soccer game this past Saturday. The girls are really strong defensively but really need to work on their offense. The game ended in a tie 0-0 hence the work needed on ofense. I think we have a strong team and with a little work they can be great. (That's her...ponytail a flying' in the black shorts and blue & white striped shirt. #9) =0)
S's baseball is in full "swing" (pardon the pun). The Rockstars participated in a tournament this weekend and came in second. I didn't get to go but according to D they really could've won the whole thing but they made some really stupid mistakes in the finals that cost them the game. The pic to the left is of them after one of the wins (obviously). S just barely made it in the picture on the far right. =0)
"Apple Bottom Jean...Jeans...."
"...boots with the fur...with the fur." Ok, I'm a 'tard. But I am sooooo excited that I was able to get my very first pair of Apple Bottom Jeans and better yet... for 45% off. I can't wait (CAN'T WAIT, I TELL YOU) to wear them. Last year at this time I would not have been able to fit my big toe in a pair (even tho' I think they are supposed to be for exactly my body type.... chicks with a bit o' junk in the trunk. LOL). Anyways, that was my excitement this weekend. Also, J started her Spring League soccer season but I couldn't download the pics yet so you'll have to get a post about that tomorrow. =0)

Weight Watchers Rocks
Ok so it's been a looooooong time since I posted but I do have some awesome news. I started Weight Watchers back in September and so far I have lost 43 lbs. I had gotten RIDICULOUSLY FAT and was just miserable. I feel so much better about myself now. The really cool thing is that once people at work really started to notice, a lot of them got on the band wagon as well. I still have about 20 lbs to go to hit my goal and the loss has really started to slow down but I'm pluggin' along. I've gone down 6 sizes in clothes. Luckily I kept alot of my smaller clothes but even those are kinda big now. =0) A good problem to have I guess, but D is gonna kill me 'cause soon I will need to start buying new clothes. LOL. Anyways, I hope to keep up better (not making any promises) if only to update on my weight loss.
