MERRRRRYYYYY CHRISTMAS!!!!
What a fantastic Christmas we had (I hope everyone did too). As you can see we went to Disneyland on Christmas Eve. We had the best time ever. J is now hardcore. She rode all the big rides (Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Thunder Mountain, Star Tours) with us. She would've ridden Indiana Jones too but she wasn't tall enough. =0) We even stayed late enough to see the fireworks and snow. So Christmas Eve 2006 is now officially the best time I've ever had at Disneyland. Christmas day was awesome too. We got S the Nintendo Wii so of course that was the hit of the day. There is no vegging out infront of the TV on that one. You really get a work out. =0) Santa brought J Baby Alive which is a crack up. She eats and poops and she tells you when she does "a stinky". Totally hilarious. D & the kids got me a beautiful diamond circle necklace which was totally unexpected. We got D a cool speaker for his IPOD so he can play guitar along with it. That's about it for now. Here's wishing everyone a very Happy and Safe New Year. Look out 2007, here we come. =0)

It's an obsession
I believe I forgot to include the lovely gentleman in the photograph when I listed my "addicitons". My God!!! The man is perfect. He's gorgeous, sweet, down to earth, funny and as you can see not to hard too look at. I have my DVR set to record anything and everything that has his name in it. It's really bad. =0) I am now in search of a way to get a t-shirt that he was wearing in an interview with "J.K. Livin'" on it. Not necessarily the one he was wearing (although that would be the best). So I'm on a mission. Anyways, I just realized that I forgot to include this fine example of the human form in my addicitons and, for now, he's at the top of the list.

GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL!!!!!!! (or no goal as it were)
Well there he is. My little star goalie. This is a picture of S defending the goal at the 2006 Myles Standish Soccer Tournament at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. It took place the Fri., Sat., & Sun after Thanksgiving. A very long weekend indeed. S had 3 shutouts out of 5 games. They ended up coming in 4th out of 16 teams. Which I thought was pretty darn good considering they had only practiced as a team twice before the tournament. All in all a fun but stressful and tiring weekend. Thank goodness this little boy takes after his Daddy in the athleticism department. He just takes naturally to any sport he plays. I love it. I was never athletic as a kid so it's so great to watch him and cheer for him as he does so well. He has another tournament this weekend. This should be interesting because D's family is coming to celebrate early Christmas with us. There are 3 games throughout the day on Saturday. Luckily, it's a little closer (Torrance, CA) than the last one. I hope everyone is having a great holiday season and I hope to post again before Christmas.

Time flies when you're having.....fun?
My gosh, it's been almost a month since I posted. The days just become a blur after awhile. Between soccer, baseball and Tae Kwon I'm running like a chicken with my head cut off. The first weekend in November, D & S went to Dallas to the NASCAR races and they had a blast. Then last weekend D took both kids camping in Ventura so Mommy had a weekend to herself. I can't remember the last time I had one of those. I was a little torn between looking forward to it and thinking I would miss the kids alot. But it was great and boy did I need it. I had a horrendous week last week and just needed the break. Thanksgiving is next week and then time just flies to the end of the year. We're spending Thanksgiving at my parents and then S has a soccer tournament all weekend starting that Friday. So we'll be busy bee's next week. In case I don't post again before the holiday
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE!!!!

Dancin' with the Stars & other addictions
Ok folks, I am as addicted to the following shows as it gets (in no pariticular order):
Dancing with the Stars
Grey's Anotomy
Nip/Tuck
ER
Lost
Days of Our Lives
By the end of the regular TV season I am exhausted. Thank goodness for DVR. Oh, I'm addicted to that too. =0)~
For the love of God, Mario Lopez is soooo HOT!!!!!! I have always loved guys that can dance & that boy can dance. Very easy on the eyes as well (note pic above) so Dancing with the Stars has my attention on Tues & Wed. Grey's Anatomy just sucked me in against my will. I DVR'd the season finale last year for my Mom and ended up watching it and I couldn't wait til this season started (can't remember why I didn't start watching from the beginning but I'm hooked now). Nip/Tuck is just this side of porn, I swear, but I love it. =0)~ I've been hooked on ER since the beginning 150 years ago. And they just keep bringing in the cuties. =0) Lost is the one & only show that D and I voluntarily watch together. We love it. And last but not least Days.
So those are my TV addictions for now and I reserve the right to add to or delete from this list at will.

Hip Hoppin' & baseball
Hey everyone (assuming there is more than one person out there),
J had her 1st hip hop dance class on Saturday. Too darn cute. I was busy taking video so I didn't get any pictures but she has 5 more weeks so I'll try to get at least one good one to post here. It is held at a local gymnastics school and she watched a little bit of the gymnastics class that was going on after her dance class. We'll see if she wants to do that too.
S had a baseball game yesterday which I missed because I was at a bday party with J and he hit a triple and although he got out he brought 2 runners in. He hasn't done much with hitting during this fall ball season and of all days for me to miss it. Oh well. =0)
Well, not much else going on so I'll post again soon.

It's been a long time
Well, I haven't been so good at keeping this thing up to date, huh? Let's see, I'll try to give an abbrieviated update of the last 2 months.
- S passed his Red II test with flying colors so he's on his way to his Black Belt.
- The kids started school & are doing great. J is loving being a big Kindergartener.
- S is a busy boy. He's playing AYSO soccer,Fall baseball, and still going to Tae Kwon Do three times a week.
- We had a parent/teacher conference for both of them this week and they are both doing great.
- J is still taking Tae Kwon Do and loving it.
- Not sure if you can tell in the picture but S got his highlighed tips on his spikey hair do. He's been wanting it for soooo long. He looks so darn cute if I do say so myself. =0)
Mine and D's lives are pretty boring as far as activity. It's all about the kids. =0) Hope to be better at updating.

TGIF
This week sped by. Especially considering I was fresh back from vacation. S has his Red II stripe test in Tae Kwon Do tonight at 5:30. I know he will breeze though but I always have my fingers crossed just in case. =0)
I can't believe there are only 3 weeks left until the kids start school. This summer has flown by. S starts 5th grade and J (my baby) starts Kinder. It's incredible how fast these kids grow. I still remember both pregnancies and births as if they were yesterday. (sniff, sniff).
Well better go.

Back from the Rockies
Well, we just got back from visiting D's family in Colorado. Great trip. The kids had a great time horseback riding and going down the Alpine slide (the pic is of S, D & J going up the lift to the Alpine slide). They were sad to leave but I was glad to get home. I think a week is all I can handle of being out of my own bed. We had a great time but I think I need a vacation from my vacation. =0) Glad that we had a day to recoop before we had to go back to work.

Is it only Wednesday???
This week feels like it's already been 7 days long. Thank goodness we leave for vacation on Saturday. We're going to Colorado to visit D's sister & her family and his Mom. Should be a fun trip. We've never been to Colorado. The kids are really looking forward to it. Tried to start packing last night. I am so not good at packing. I want to take all the clothes we own just so we have choices. We'll see what I end up with once I see how much doesn't fit in the suitcase. =0)

Hey y'all
Howdy,
Well, here's my second post and I'm shocked that I am doing it the very next day. =0) TGIF. What a crazy, hectic week. I worked late 2 days this week and had to stress about child pick up and drop off at various practices. Thank God for my Mom (what would I do without her). Nothing much planned for the weekend. S has an All Star bball game Saturday evening but that's it. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

1st post
Good morning all,
I can't believe I'm actually giving in to this blog thing. I saw that it was free thru Google and thought, "What the heck." I can't say I will post a ton since my life is pretty boring (LOL) but I think it's cool that I can. I inserted this picture of me at my company party just to see if I could do it. =0)
Hope you all will check in every once in a while to see what's up. =0)
